1965 the first Ski-Doo Olympique Snowmobile

Bombardier, Valcourt Quebec, their first snowmobile was introduced in 1959 as Ski-Doo, before that they were known as Ski-Dog.
Before 1965 Ski-Doo snowmobiles were referenced by an alpha-numeric codes, In 1965 Ski-Doo started using model names, which the name Olympique was used for their first model. The Olympique name was used for fourteen years, the Olympique name was no longer being used after the 1979 model year. 1965 to 1979 the Ski-Doo Olympique snowmobile were well know to all snowmobilers. The Ski-Doo Olympique name still lives on today, These Ski-Doo Olympique snowmobile are now know as vintage snowmobile, these vintage Olympique snowmobiles can still be found riden today and can be found at snowmobile shows displayed by collectors from United States and Canada.
